Beginners Guide to Zoom

So you're hearing the word "zoom" a lot in recent church communications. Zoom is a video app that allows multiple users (up to 100) to video conference through their smart phone or computer. In this time of social distancing, Zoom is a great resource for continuing Bible studies and large groups virtualy. Below are resources to help you get started.

To get started, you'll download the "Zoom" app on whatever device you'd like to talk on. For a computer, click here

1) Set up your free account.

2) To join a zoom meeting, you can either CLICK the link that is sent out, or you can hit "Join" and then type in the MEETING ID manually (links and meeting IDs will be provided by the church for each event).

3) A dialogue box will pop us asking if you'd like to "Join with audio"--click "YES" so that others can hear you (you can mute yourself as needed in the meeting with the "MUTE" button). In the bottom left of your screen is a video camera icon, click that to turn video on or off.
